iQor, a managed services provider of customer engagement and technology-enabled business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, said on Friday that it has partnered with Rapid Tech to donate more than 400 refurbished computers to 53 public schools in Angeles City. The aim is to equip students with essential digital tools for academic success while promoting environmental sustainability.
iQor said that it combined with Rapid Tech to prepare each unit for immediate use, clearing drives, installing new Windows operating systems, and equipping each one with a keyboard and mouse.
Officer Fleurette Navarro, iQor Chief People, said that education and youth empowerment are the keys to growth and that they decided to donate the computers because they want to give back to society and are happy with the opportunities these computers will give the children.
“Education and youth development are cornerstones for growth. This donation is a testament to iQor’s commitment to support the communities in which we operate and our dedication to empower students with the technology they need to succeed. The donation event took place on Wednesday at the Department of Education Gabaldon Office Building in Angeles City. iQor Philippines Country Lead Rod Hoddinott and iQor Chief People Officer Fleurette Navarro were joined by Clark Angeles Vice Mayor Maria Vicenta Vega; City Attorney Raphaela Kercee Vendel Pineda Lazatin; Asst. Division Schools Superintendent Enrique Angeles Jr.; and Senior Education Program Specialist Alberto Otchengco. Rapid Tech General Manager Kristin Santos also attended.
